Privacy policy
Ascend Siding and Exteriors handles personal information with care under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect and why
An estimate request collects your name, phone number, optional email, town and postal code, project preferences, notes and optional photos. We use these details to contact you, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. Please avoid including people, private documents or unrelated personal details in photos.
We also record the page where your request started, referral information and campaign tags. Abuse protection uses a keyed hash of your network address, never a raw address in our application records, to limit repeated submissions.
Who can access your information
Authorized business administrators can view requests and private photos. Our website hosting, storage and service providers process information to operate the site. Provider systems may process information outside British Columbia or Canada. We do not sell your details or use estimate requests for unrelated marketing.
How long information is kept
We retain estimate information only as long as needed to respond, manage the project, meet legal obligations and resolve issues. A fixed retention period has not yet been adopted; you can ask us about the status of your request or request deletion. Abuse-limit records are eligible for cleanup after two hours and are cleared on subsequent requests.
Cookies and analytics
The site remembers your Accept or Decline choice in your browser. Optional analytics only start after you accept. No analytics container is currently configured. Essential security and administrator sign-in features may use cookies or browser storage without analytics consent.
Access, correction and deletion
Call (250) 618-1529 to request access, correction or deletion of your information or raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity before acting. Information required by law may need to be retained.
